About Me

I collect ideas the way some people collect seashells: I pick up whatever catches my eye and keep it until I understand why. A scribble, a half-written lyric, title sequence, or a joke that accidentally works can all become the start of something.

That curiosity recently took me from Seattle rain to the freezing cold of Chicago. Apparently, I have a habit of choosing great cities with terrible weather.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me on walks trying to pretend like Lake Michigan is an ocean for my own sanity. I’m still loyal to good seafood, and my bangs remain a constant work in progress.
